This is a stonking pad from Rupes, we use this along with our Uppercut or Half cut polishing compounds.  pulls out defects swiftly and finishes incredible. 
 
Although this pad is designed for rotary use, we also use them with the Flex forced machine and it takes a proper beating.   These pads really go the distance. 
 
These do all our heavy cutting, so when we switch to yellow to refine, the yellow pad doesn't get cooked and also lasts for a long time. 
 
Run them as fast as you like on the Rotary, i've had them up around 2800rpm and unlike some of the more cumbersome pads, they run very true and your machine will remain balanced.
